Hello all. Taking a small break for the holidays, as well to direct focus on a gig I landed with Big Break Records writing the liner notes for their Thelma Jones reissue due in the New Year. Exciting right? I still can't believe it.
I've, of course, got some great new ideas for The QH Blend, and those are also in the pipe. I'll be back in January, balancing this, university, & work, lol. I have to say thanks to everyone for making this the best year the site has ever had. I hope I continue to keep you all interested. Enjoy your winter festivities, however you celebrate them. COOOOOOOLNESS! I can't think of a mo betta writer, fan, appreciater of music than you, so who better to be writing those essential liner notes than YOU? No doubt you'll do a hella job. Hope it leads to even more gigs down the road.

Yeh, I was tripping off of it. Thelma Jones is a very sweet lady & her debut is a cute lil' nugget of soul energy. I'm blessed to do this, it's been my biggest (professional) break since me signing up for the Dayton City Paper back in late 2006 (and where I wrote until spring of 2010).
